Open up Politics – Get involved

Posted by timnotjim on: October 21, 2009 in: + rehabstudio, Editorial, Interactive

Open Up is an online petition calling for all MPs to put themselves up for re-selection before the next election. The idea is to introduce mini elections before the General Election (called open primaries) where we the people get to choose the MPs who stand – not the political parties.

The petition site is the hub of a digital campaign running across YouTube, Twitter and Facebook and on mobile.

There’s a fun side too – check out Tales From The Duck House – a set of Duck films created by Mother Advertising, written and directed by comedy legend John Lloyd, creator of QI and The News Quiz and producer of Not The Nine O’Clock News, Spitting Image and Blackadder.

See if you can spot some of the star voices in the films too!

The site’s been designed and built by us along with the Open Up blog, YouTube and Twitter channels.

Stephen Fry’s come on board to endorse the campaign and his Tweet sent 100’s of thousands of visitors to the site in a matter of seconds!

There’s an amazing collective of talent behind the campaign including Mother, We Are Social, AdIQ, Brunswick – and we’re proud to be a part of it!

London superclub, Fabric showcased some of our photography as part of an online exhibition to mark their 10th birthday.

Some classic shots including some of rehabcrew at Wall of Sound’s Wig party, awesome.
